| 02XX413 02JH835 TS4300 - LTO-9 HH FC Drive AGLA LTO9 Fibre Channel Half-High Tape Drive is for an TS4300 Tape Library and 02XX413 and 3555G9HHFIBCRU part numbers. The AGLA LTO9 Tape Drive has a single 8 Gb interface port that delivers a maximum data transfer rate of 300 MBps and will auto-negotiate to lower speeds, and can be installed in an TS4300 Tape Library Model 3555. The AGLA LTO9 Fibre Channel Half-High Tape Drive cables are not included and must be ordered separately and are required to attach the TS4300 LTO Tape Library to a host adapter. The LTO9 Tape Drive is a high-performance, high-capacity tape storage backup and restore device for i AS400, AIX, Linux Power Servers and other open system platforms. The Ultrium 9 or LTO9 tape cartridge can store up to 18 TB of data natively or 48 TB compressed. LTO9 tape drives provide 400 MBps data transfer rates for uncompressed backups, a whopping 900 MBps for the 12 Gb SAS Full Height drives and 700 MBps for Fiber Channel drives with 2.5:1 compression. The AGLA LTO9 Fibre Channel Half-High Tape Drive with 02XX413 part number can be purchased in a full height format as a AGLC LTO9 Fiber Channel Tape Drive with 02XX417 part number, of which has two 8 Gb ports that provides a 400 MBs maximum native data transfer rate. Other LTO9 tape drive options for the TS4300 LTO Tape Library include the AGLB LTO9 SAS Tape Drive which has part number 02XX411 and is a Half-High drive with two 12 Gb ports, providing a 300 MBs maximum native data transfer rate. The AGLD LTO9 SAS Tape Drive has 02XX415 part number and is a Full-High drive with two 12 Gb SAS ports, providing a 400 MBps maximum native data transfer rate. Note: The actual capacity varies depending on the application, the type of data, and the tape cartridge. The default setting of Data Compression is controlled by the host system. The user and the application software can control the activation or deactivation of the data compression setting.
